So, What's a Wrap Anyway?

Sometime’s it’s a sandwich. But in the world of outdoor and mobile advertising, it has a much meatier definition.

A wrap is your advertisement, logo, brand or message printed in high definition on adhesive vinyl material. The vinyl is then applied to your vehicles, wall or window spaces and they are officially considered “wrapped.” You may hear the terms vehicle wrap, auto wrap, car wrap, fleet wrap, etc. And also building wrap, wall mural, architectural graphic, dimensional lettersing, etc.

It’s a booming form of alternative advertising that touts a big ROI and has aided increases in sales as much as 107% in some cases, according to a recent study conducted by Product Acceptance & Research. And it's gaining momentum as the most cost-effective form of advertising available.

Wrapping also generates more impressions than traditional advertising media, with 3M and the American Trucking Association reporting that 91% of motorists and pedestrians exposed to wrapped advertisement notice the text and more than 80% remember the message.

So that’s a wrap, for our very first blog post.
