Earlier this year the Greenville, SC, Metropolitan Arts Council (MAC) teamed up with Vantage Travel to present "Flat Out Under Pressure," a competition for area artists to create a piece of work, from start to finish, in just 24 hours.
The resulting works of art are intended to decorate the fronts of 10 new recycling bins that will soon make their debut up and down Main Street in Greenville's charming downtown area. Thanks to cooperation and assistance from the City of Greenville and various area business sponsors, the winning artists can expect to see their talented contributions adorning the bins and assisting the local (and global) green initiative in the coming months.
B2B Media is participating in the project by reproducing the artists' work onto a vinyl adhesive that will outfit the 10 bins and help beautify the green initiative taking place downtown.
